Civics & Community Building Solutions:
I challenge you to come up with a platform for connecting with your classmates or peers to identify, research and take action on racial inequity that you see in your school or community.
I challenge you to reimagine urban spaces so that kids living in low-income communities have equal opportunities to receive the play-filled childhood they deserve.
I challenge you to organize young people in your community to practice civic power and cultivate civic character.
I challenge you to design mobility solutions that increase community cohesion and promote equitable development of vulnerable populations in your communities.
I challenge you, the students in Denver, CO, to create a way of inspiring your classmates, and students around the country, to learn about the Bill of Rights, its history, and the way that it relates to your lives. Inspire them to apply their knowledge of it to be active citizens by choosing a current debate involving the Bill Of Rights and making an argument about what liberty means to you today. Be creative in helping students learn about where the rights listed in the Bill of Rights came from and how they evolved over time.
