BATA Roots of Renewal

We will combat global warming and the lack of trees in urban spaces by transforming empty asphalt heavy places into greener spaces where people can commune in a healthier, cooler, and more aesthetically pleasing environment.

Bee Green

Our vision is to build sustainable gardens and eco friendly parks for neighborhoods that need them by engaging communities and bettering the environment.

School Yard for Everyone

We are transforming our school yard into a space that is fun and welcoming for everybody in our community, and that is created by the community. We believe intentionally designed space will help address climate change and improve the environment while acting as an event space, and resource hub for homeless youth.

The Brighton BUGS

To create a space at Brighton High School where students can feel a sense of community while also learning to support and grow their own skills and hobbies.

Project White-Top

At Project White-Top our vision is to turn an urban space into a thriving green area where people can come together, have fun, connect with nature, and improve lives in our community. We believe that with sustainable solutions and community collaboration, we can create a space that makes both the environment and society flourish by implementing a white-top basketball court because white reflects heat rather than absorbs it. In theory, it will reduce the heat island effect and create a cooler space for players, setting the bar for hopefully many basketball courts to come creating a sense of awareness about the heat island effect in the process.

We want to see people throughout our local communities taking action thanks to their new-found knowledge about the sea level rise crises, additionally they will be generating solutions and will not be in constant argument for what solution will work best.

We will educate community members and local businesses to understand the rodent problem, how their behaviors contribute to the issue and inspire them to take action and change behaviors to create a cleaner and happier community, with a reduced number of rodents.

Fewer rats will make places more sanitary and reduce the risk of disease.

Rat Patrol

We envision influencing the behaviors of adolescents in Williamsburg Brooklyn, joining the efforts to decrease the rat population, and improving the quality of life for NYC residents.
