Chris Economeas

Chris Economeas is in his 12th season with the Detroit Pistons, serving as senior director of community and social responsibility, where he leads outreach initiatives across metro Detroit. He serves on multiple boards, including the Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association, PeacePlayers Detroit, Horizon-Upward Bound, CATCH Charity, and The Konnection. He has led impactful programs such as a mortgage-free home giveaway for a local veteran, the 2022 Pistons Give Back initiative distributing 2,500 winter items, and the 2024 Pistonsland Early Voting Block Party, which drew 5,000 residents. Economeas has received honors including EMU’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award and DBusiness Magazine’s “30 in Their Thirties.” A Detroit native, he earned degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Wayne State University.
