Phillip Fabian is an education advocate who serves as manager of college access and success for the Commit Partnership, a nonprofit community connector, working to ensure that all students receive an equitable education that prepares them to flourish in college and career. Previously, Fabian was an educator through Teach For America in Dallas ISD at H. Grady Spruce High School. He served students for two years as a freshman biology teacher, and in his second year had the opportunity to teach AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), where he found his true passion for college access and success. He worked as a tutor to help other students succeed in their academic goals while pursuing his own higher education. Fabian received a bachelor of science in biology with a focus on neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin.
