Patrick Simpson has held leadership positions at the Global and Geography level across the Communications function since joining Nike in 2009, including Global Football, Olympics, Consumer & Marketplace and leading Communications for Emerging Markets. During his tenure he has participated in and led social impact programs globally and in the geographies from grassroots sports access for the next generation of athletes, to elevating Nike’s Community Impact Fund, Move to Zero and sustainability programming. As an enterprise communications leader, Simpson’s experience spans the breadth of corporate reputation, consumer, social impact and employee communications. This includes developing an enterprise-wide narrative approach across high-profile sports, lifestyle and cultural moments for Nike. His deep experience creating a team first and highly collaborative culture across global and geo teams has helped him establish strong cross functional relationships throughout the Nike network.
