Matt Haffenreffer

Matt Haffenreffer is an engineer, designer, and entrepreneur with a focus on system-level problems in food, health, and climate. Haffenreffer is the Founder and Principal of Process First, a consulting firm which utilizes knowledge of process, data and technology to solve major problems in support of persistent health. He leads a team of experts in the food system, health care and environmental sustainability with a focus on the intersection of these fields. A fully integrated food system can support innovation and the tracking of metrics required to improve community and ecological health as well as food system and climate resilience. Together, the Process First team is moving toward creating change by rebuilding the food system using skills in process optimization, supply chain, data science, software development, communications and design. Haffenreffer is driven by a love of food and bringing people together around food whenever possible.
