Sandra Hinojosa Hubbard is a lawyer, engineer, and board chair of Teach Kentucky. A champion of student learning, her commitment to improving the quality of public education began as an involved parent in Louisville public schools. Hinojosa Hubbard is a fellow of the Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership, served on the SiteBased Decision-Making Council at duPont Manual High School, and has been a member of the Kentucky Department of Education AdvancED Diagnostic Review teams evaluating schools identified as persistently low achieving. A civic leader, she has played a pivotal role in recruiting and retaining talented college graduates to teach in Kentucky public schools. Before becoming involved in public education, Hinojosa Hubbard supported drilling operations in the oil industry, worked in the F-16 flight test program, and practiced law.
