Leisha John is the Americas environmental sustainability leader for EY (Ernst & Young), a professional services organization operating in over 150 countries. In her role, she develops and implements strategies to reduce EY’s carbon footprint and be gentler on the planet, and helps employees across the Americas become more environmentally literate and adopt more eco-friendly ways of working. A green manicure devotee and environmental news junkie, John serves as the voice of sustainability on advisory boards for University of Miami Business School and Miami-Dade College. Passionate about green schools, she gave a TEDx talk, “White Roofs for Green Schools,” featuring Miami-Dade public schools. John also serves as the Chair of the board of Earthwatch Institute, a global organization that engages citizens in the earth sciences.
