Jean-Claude Brizard

Jean-Claude Brizard is President of UpSpring Education Group. He is former CEO of Chicago Public Schools and former superintendent of the Rochester, NY School District. Under Brizard’s leadership, both districts saw substantial improvements in student performance. His experience includes a 21-year career as an educator and administrator with the NYC Department of Education. Brizard is a Fellow of the Broad Center, a Fellow of the third class of the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship, and a member of the Aspen Institute’s Global Leadership Network.
