
Alexandra Oliver-Dávila is the Executive Director of Sociedad Latina, where she has led the organization since 1999. For more than 20 years, she has worked to build a community that supports Latino youth, values their input, and believes in their ability to create positive social change. Under her leadership, Sociedad Latina has grown into a cutting-edge, data-driven, creative youth development organization, expanding programs and the number of youth and families it serves.
Through a grassroots, community-based approach, Oliver-Dávila has forged cross-sector partnerships with colleges, hospitals, businesses, foundations, and schools to expand access and opportunity for youth. She serves on multiple community advisory and nonprofit boards and previously served on the Boston School Committee. She has received numerous honors for her leadership, including a Latino Excellence Award from the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus, recognition as one of Boston’s most influential leaders, and an honorary doctorate from Emmanuel College. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College and a master of public policy from Tufts University.
