Wayne Kimmel is managing partner of SeventySix Capital, a venture capital firm he founded in 1999. He has invested in over 40 start-up technology and health care companies, including SeamlessWeb (now public as GrubHub), Take Care Health Systems, and NutriSystem. Among the Fortune 500 companies that have acquired his portfolio companies are Aramark, Intel, IBM, Walgreens, and Yahoo!. In addition to his entrepreneurship and venture capital work, Kimmel is a philanthropist, tireless networker, and author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel. He sits on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Einstein Healthcare Network; previous service includes the boards of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and Jewish Federations of North America. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park and Delaware Law School.
