Joan Haug

Joan Haug is chief of staff to the CEO and founder of The Kitchen Community (TKC), Kimbal Musk. Joan previously served as president and COO of the non-profit for four years. TKC works to strengthen communities and accelerate the real food movement in under-served neighborhoods at scale. Their mission is to provide real food for everyone. Her previous experience includes a combined 25 years of corporate systems consulting and academics. As a tenured business professor at Long Beach City College for 13 years, Haug worked with many students of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds having varying and often extreme needs — students who she believes forever positively changed her outlook on life. Haug has a B.S. of business information systems degree from the University of Wisconsin and M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
