Adam Erickson is an artist and a member of the executive leadership team for ArtPlace America, a collaboration for creative placemaking that works to position arts and culture as a core sector of community planning and development. At ArtPlace, he directs the organization’s strategic communications to support the 285 communities across the United States in which ArtPlace has invested $104 million. Erickson previously worked at the Aspen Institute, where he managed the Arts Program and brought together leading voices from a variety of sectors to strengthen the reciprocal relationship between the arts and society. Originally from the Twin Cities, MN, he has also served as assistant to the chief curator at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and as executive assistant to the president of McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul.
