Ivan Correia, originally from Tanzania, has an MBA and a Ph.D. in molecular pharmacology and experimental therapeutics. He has driven therapeutic innovation for more than 25 years. Previously, he served as chief scientific officer at an Alzheimer’s-focused startup and advanced multiple molecules into clinical development at AbbVie. 

Correia is committed to educational outreach, supporting Breakthrough Greater Boston, facilitating student internships with Project Onramp, and forging industry-university partnerships with UMass Chan and Clark University to drive earning and career development. His achievements earned him induction into the prestigious Volwiler Society at AbbVie, exemplifying a career that blends scientific innovation with strong leadership.
