Hannah Drake is a blogger, activist, public speaker, poet, and author of 11 books. She writes commentary on politics, feminism, and race; her work has been featured in Cosmopolitan. On Super Bowl Sunday 2019, Drake’s poem, “All You Had To Do Was Play The Game, Boy,” was shared by filmmaker Ava DuVernay and Colin Kaepernick, whose protest it addresses, and viewed two million times. Drake was selected as a Daughter of Greatness by the Muhammad Ali Center and one of the Louisville’s Best of the Best for her poem, “Spaces.” Her commentary on dreaming big has been recognized by Michelle Obama, and she discussed her movement, Do Not Move Off the Sidewalk, about the power of holding your space, on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show.”
