Theo Edmonds is a professor at University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Science, where he directs the Center for Creative Placehealing. He leads the Diversity and Inclusion entrepreneurship program for the Derby Diversity & Business Summit, is founding vice chair of Louisville’s LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce, and co-chairs the Louisville Health Advisory Board’s Cultural and Social Impact Committee. Edmonds is also a principal investigator with the Center for Health Organization Transformation on studies that measure hope, trust, and belonging in the workforce to predict employee well-being and organizational market performance. He co-founded IDEAS xLab, an arts-based nonprofit, and was co-leader for Louisville’s successful 2016 bid to be named a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize winner. A cultural innovator and health care professional, Edmonds was named one of 50 People Changing the Face of the South by Southern Living Magazine.
