Helah Robinson is national program director at LIFT, a nonprofit working to break the cycle of poverty. She oversees new program design and implementation and leads coaching, financial capabilities, and cash-transfer portfolios. Previously, Robinson was program manager for Africa at Vital Voices Global Partnership, an international development NGO that invests in emerging women leaders. There, she led a large economic development program for women entrepreneurs and was a regional expert for human rights and political participation programs. Robinson also has experience in organizational capacity building, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement and research. She holds a BS in foreign service and certificate in international development from Georgetown University and a master of public policy from Harvard Kennedy School, where she received the Carr Center Prize for Human Rights.
